Tianjin's Jizhou district has been contributing to the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and transforming the valuable strategic opportunities into a strong impetus for the local high-quality development.
Since the beginning of this year, Jizhou district has introduced high-quality projects worth 2.71 billion yuan ($380.52 million) from Beijing to undertaking non-capital functions.

In addition, regional brand construction has been implemented. Jizhou has established three vegetable supply bases around Beijing, achieving agricultural product sales exceeding 600 million yuan in the capital.
Cultural tourism industry is another highlight underway. Twenty-four tourism projects, such as Panshan Honggu and Chaowan Valley, have been accelerating. A total of 49 boutique homestays have been newly built, totaling over 350 in the district. Over 20 cultural, sports, and tourism activities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region have been held in Jizhou so far this year. During the May Day holiday period, Beijing tourists accounted for 48 percent of the total.
