On Apr 28, Jizhou's tourism promotional conference was held in Beijing to introduce the district's local cultural tourism resources and contribute to the establishment of the tourism brand of "Jizhou's landscape, the garden of Beijing and Tianjin".

Jizhou district is located in the central area of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It has rich historical and cultural resources, making it a "millennium old county" in China and a famous historical and cultural city in Tianjin. It is known as the "garden of Beijing and Tianjin". In recent years, Jizhou district has deeply implemented the strategy of coordinated development and rural revitalization in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, accelerated the promotion of industrial transformation and upgrading, and constructed a national practical innovation base with the principal of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", a national ecological civilization construction demonstration zone, and the "China's Natural Oxygen Bar". It has been rated as one of the first national comprehensive tourism demonstration zones, a national cultural and tourism consumption pilot city, and a national food safety demonstration zone.
During the meeting, Zhang Jianyu, deputy secretary of the CPC Jizhou district committee and head of Jizhou district, highlighted that since the beginning of this year, Jizhou has actively integrated into the overall development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cultural Tourism Association, focused on leveraging its ecological and cultural tourism resources advantages, and has made every effort to create a non-capital functional characteristic undertaking area.
In addition, Zhu Ning, the publicity and promotion officer of Jizhou district, introduced such local cultural and tourism resources as Panshan scenic area, Huangyaguan Great Wall, Limutai scenic site and other well-known sites, characteristic agricultural products, and the "Yunshang Jizhou" smart tourism platform.

A signing ceremony for key investment projects in Jizhou was also held at the meeting, with 16 enterprises signing project contracts on site and an investment amount of over 7 billion yuan (about $1 billion). The implementation and completion of these projects will promote the upgrading of culture and tourism, people's livelihoods, and new energy industries in Jizhou district.
