To grasp new opportunities brought on by the recovery of its tourism sector, Jizhou district has vigorously promoted the development of the cultural and tourism industry, closely combining it with flower appreciation activities, in a bid to further integrate Jizhou's tourism with the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The 15th Tianjin's Jizhou "Pear Garden Romance" Cultural and Tourism Festival kicked off last weekend. It attracted 47,830 visitors to the region. Compared with the activities in previous years, this time, a total of three venues of the "Pear Garden Romance" festival were set up, bringing more entertainment activities.

The large number of tourists has raised the demand for bed-and-breakfast accommodations. Cooperating with nearby scenic areas, rural villages in Jizhou have been developing homestay businesses with the support of the local government, which has provided visitors comfortable places to rest, contributed to the income of local residents and promoted rural revitalization.

The beautiful scenery and delicacies have made Jizhou a popular destination for guests from other places. According to statistics, the number of tourists coming from other areas has seen a significant increase this year. Taking the Panshan Scenic Area as an example, the proportion of tourists from Beijing has exceeded 30%, a significant rise from the previous 20%.
Since the beginning of this year, the tourism industry in Jizhou has deeply integrated into the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The local government has signed a 2023 JD Leisure Tourism Promotion Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Pinggu district in Beijing and Chengde in Hebei, so as to actively participate in the 25th Beijing Pinggu International Peach Blossom Festival, the Cultural and Tourism Consumption Season in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, as well as the Cultural and Tourism Investment Promotion Conference held by Chengde in Beijing.

Throughout this year, Jizhou has planned to hold five competitions and 27 activities for improving the overall tourism environment and quality of service.
