Jizhou expands distribution channels of agricultural products

Taking advantage of the preferential policies, Jizhou Green Food Group Co., Ltd. has implemented the development mode of "enterprise + cooperatives + farmers", promoting local agricultural products to enter the markets of other regions.

Established in 2012, Jizhou Green Food Group is responsible for developing, processing, and selling green food products cultivated in Jizhou district, and strives to create the brand of "Jizhou Agricultural Products".

"At present, we adopt the business model of 'enterprise + cooperatives + farmers'. In addition to providing seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides to farmers in the region, we also provide professional guidance to reduce farmers' costs and improve product quality. Once the crops mature, we purchase them and unify the processing standards, in a bid to ensure agricultural products' quality and contribute to the brand of 'Jizhou Agricultural Products'," said Zhang Jinghua, general manager of Jizhou Green Food Group.

With high-quality products, Jizhou Green Food Group registered and established an e-commerce platform in 2020, allowing them to promote and export agricultural products nationally to be enjoyed by more people.

Currently, Jizhou Green Food Group has selected over 100 distinctive agricultural and sideline products and incorporated them into the "Jizhou Agricultural Products" brand. These products are sold both online and in stores, covering vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, rice, flour and oil. The annual sales value has exceeded 58 million yuan (about $8.4 million).

This year, the company will focus on the market of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and strive for the expansion of distribution channels. In addition to cooperating with large-scale supermarkets on improving the market share and popularity of Jizhou's agricultural products, the company will also provide delivery services for communities.

As a national green food demonstration area, this year, Jizhou district will give priority to the construction of the "Jizhou Agricultural Products" brand, driving the development of the green organic agriculture industry. By the end of this year, the output value of Jizhou's characteristic agricultural products is expected to reach 1 billion yuan.
