In 2022, Jizhou district promoted the construction of key cultural tourism projects, including the construction of the Great Wall National Cultural Park and the renovation of Yuyang ancient street.

Furthermore, rural tourism has also been upgraded. The number of high-quality bed-and-breakfast homestays now sits at 220, and a batch of rural scenic spots, including Guojiagou and Xida Buddha Tower, has been constructed.
Digital development has also empowered the local cultural and tourism industry. The "Jizhou cloud platform" has been put into operation, gathering comprehensive information on cultural tourism. Four tourism routes have been listed as national boutique routes, and the overall tourism industry has steadily improved.
