Zhouhe and Xiaying Huanxiu Lake wetland parks in Jizhou district were recently listed as national wetland parks.
The pilot construction of the two wetland parks was approved in December 2016. In recent years, through a series of protection and restoration projects, scientific research monitoring projects and management service projects, the ecological environment and the ecological function of the two wetland parks have significantly improved.

Zhouhe National Wetland Park has a total planning area of 508 hectares, including 300 hectares of wetlands, with a wetland rate of 59.12%. 154 species of new plants, 5 species of fish, 26 species of birds, and 1 species of amphibians and reptiles have been recorded in the park.

Xiaying Huanxiu Lake national wetland park has a total planning area of 733 hectares, including 397 hectares of wetlands, with a wetland rate of 54.21%. In the park, 164 new species of plants, 17 species of fish, 30 species of birds, 1 species of amphibians and 4 species of reptiles have been recorded.
