Recently, Nihe village in Luozhuangzi town has entered into millet harvesting season. Walking into the grain base in Nihe village, farmers are busy harvesting the millet. The village has 100 mu of farm land on which to plant millet, with an annual output of more than 20,000 kilograms. The harvested millet has to go through several processes, such as impurity removal, rice milling, polishing and sieving. With a yield of about 150 kilograms per mu, Nihe millet is soft, glutinous, sweet and high in nutrition.
